What Responsible Gaming Means at Mostply

Responsible gaming is not just a section buried in a website footer. At Mostply it is a set of real, working commitments that shape how the platform is built and operated from the ground up. The idea is straightforward: cricket betting, casino games and crash games are meant to be enjoyable entertainment activities. When they stop being fun and start creating worry, stress or financial harm, something has gone wrong — and both the player and Mostply have a shared interest in catching that early.

The overwhelming majority of Mostply players in Pakistan engage with the platform in a healthy, controlled way. They set a budget for the month, they stick to it, and they treat the wins as a pleasant surprise rather than an expected income stream. But problem gambling is real, and it affects a small proportion of players on every gaming platform in the world. Mostply does not pretend otherwise, and it does not wait for things to get serious before acting.

This page covers everything Mostply does in the responsible gaming space: the tools available to players, how to spot the early signs of gambling harm, and how to access help if you or someone you care about needs it. Please read it — not because it is required, but because knowing this stuff genuinely makes for better, more sustainable gaming.

Mostply's Player Safety Tools

All five tools are free and accessible directly from your Mostply account settings — no support ticket required.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into Mostply over any rolling daily, weekly or monthly period. Once the limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Reducing your limit happens straight away. Increasing your limit requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before it activates — this intentional friction is there to protect you from impulsive decisions in the heat of a session.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum net loss amount over a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. When you reach your loss limit, Mostply automatically suspends further betting and gaming activity for the remainder of that period. You will not be able to bypass this limit by switching between products. It applies across all of Mostply including sports betting, casino and crash games.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for a single gaming session. When the time limit is reached, Mostply will notify you and, depending on your preference, either display a warning or automatically log you out. Time limits help prevent the kind of extended sessions where it is easy to lose track of how long you have been playing and how much you have spent.

Reality Checks

Enable regular pop-up notifications that appear at intervals you choose — every 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Each notification shows you the time you have been playing in the current session and your net result so far. Reality checks are especially useful for casino sessions and crash game runs, where it is easy to lose the sense of how long you have been at it.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion temporarily or permanently blocks your access to Mostply. Options are 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or permanent. During self-exclusion, you will be unable to login, deposit, bet or play. Your account cannot be reopened before the period expires — and even after it expires, a cooling-off period applies before access is restored. This is the most powerful tool available, and we encourage any player feeling out of control to use it.

24/7 Support

Mostply's support team is available around the clock via live chat inside your account. If you are feeling unsure about your gambling — or just want to talk to someone about using one of the tools above — our team is trained to help without judgement. You do not need to be in a crisis to reach out. A quick chat with support to activate a deposit limit is completely normal and we handle these conversations every day.

How to access these tools: Log in to your Mostply account → go to Account Settings → select "Responsible Gaming". All tools are listed there. Changes to deposit and loss limits take effect based on the rules described in each tool above. Self-exclusion can also be initiated by contacting support at support@mostply.run if you prefer.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely appears suddenly. It typically develops gradually through a pattern of small changes in behaviour. The signs below are the ones most commonly reported by people who later sought help. The more of them that feel familiar, the more important it is to take action.

Chasing Losses

Feeling a compulsion to keep playing after a loss with the goal of winning back what was lost. This is one of the most reliable early indicators that gambling has shifted from entertainment to something more problematic.

Gambling With Money Needed for Other Things

Using money set aside for rent, groceries, bills or other essential expenses. If you have ever delayed a payment or borrowed from someone to fund gaming, that is a significant warning sign.

Hiding Your Gambling from Family

Keeping the amount you gamble — or that you gamble at all — a secret from your family or close friends. Secrecy around gambling is a strong signal that you already sense on some level that it has gone too far.

Gambling Affecting Sleep or Daily Life

Staying up unusually late to play, missing work or social engagements, or experiencing persistent thoughts about gambling during the day when you are supposed to be focused on other things.

Gambling to Cope With Stress or Low Mood

Using gambling to escape problems, anxiety, boredom or negative emotions rather than for genuine entertainment. When gambling becomes a coping mechanism it tends to escalate.

Unable to Stop When You Want To

Repeatedly telling yourself "just one more bet" or "I will stop after this round" and then continuing past the point you intended. Difficulty stopping when you decide to is the clearest sign that responsible gaming tools or professional support are needed.

Quick Self-Assessment

Answer the five questions below honestly. There are no right or wrong answers — this is just for you. Your responses are not sent anywhere or stored by Mostply.

1. Have you ever spent more on gambling than you planned to in a single session?
2. Have you tried to win back money you lost by gambling more?
3. Has gambling caused any tension, arguments or secrecy in your household?
4. Have you ever borrowed money or sold something to fund gambling?
5. Do you feel anxious, irritable or restless when you are not gambling?

How to Activate a Safety Tool on Mostply

Control is always one tap away on Mostply
Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the period ends. This is intentional — it ensures the tool works when it matters most. Please think carefully about the duration before activating it. If you are unsure, start with 30 days.
Need help right now? If you want to self-exclude immediately and cannot access your account, email support@mostply.run with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and include your registered phone number. The team will action it within the hour.

The Mostply Approach to Underage Gambling Prevention

Every player who registers on Mostply must confirm they are 18 years of age or older. This is not just a tick-box — Mostply enforces it through a combination of registration checks and a full KYC verification process that includes documentary proof of age via a valid Pakistani CNIC.

Where Mostply identifies or suspects that an account has been registered by someone under the age of 18, it will immediately suspend that account, withhold all balances, and report the matter as required by applicable law. Winning bets placed by a minor are not paid out. This is a firm policy with no exceptions.

Parents and guardians in Pakistan who are concerned about a minor accessing gaming platforms should be aware that Mostply applies strict registration controls. However, no online system is completely foolproof, which is why parental awareness and device-level parental controls remain an important complementary layer of protection. If you believe a minor has created an account on Mostply, contact us immediately at support@mostply.run.

Gambling and Financial Wellbeing

One of the most common paths into problem gambling in Pakistan — and everywhere else — involves financial pressure. A player starts out betting small amounts they can afford to lose. They win occasionally. They begin to think of gambling as a supplement to their income rather than entertainment. Loss-chasing begins. The amounts get larger to "make up" for earlier losses. Within a few months, money that should be covering household expenses is disappearing into the platform.

Mostply will not pretend that gambling is a financial strategy. It is not. The house edge means that, over time, the majority of money wagered goes back to the platform. Individual players can and do win — sometimes significantly — but those wins are exceptions, not the average outcome. Anyone who approaches Mostply with the intention of generating a reliable side income from betting or gaming is likely to be disappointed, and possibly harmed.

The right mindset for gambling is the same one you would bring to cinema tickets or eating out: it is money spent on an experience, not an investment. If you find yourself framing gambling in financial terms — calculating what you "need" to win this week — that is a signal worth paying attention to.

Supporting a Family Member With Gambling Problems

Problem gambling rarely only affects the person doing the gambling. Families in Pakistan often bear a significant share of the financial and emotional consequences. If someone in your household is gambling excessively and you are worried, here are some practical steps:

Talk to the person directly but calmly, focusing on specific behaviours you have observed rather than making accusations. Keep the conversation about concern, not blame. If the person is willing to accept help, encourage them to use Mostply's self-exclusion tool immediately — it is the fastest way to create distance from the platform.

Where self-exclusion has been activated on Mostply, the account holder cannot override it early. However, nothing prevents them from creating a new account on a different platform. The most durable protection against problem gambling involves the person acknowledging the problem themselves, which is why this conversation matters.

Mostply's support team is also available to speak with family members who are concerned about a registered player. Contact us at support@mostply.run — we will not share account-specific information but we can discuss the options available and how the platform's tools work.

Responsible Gaming FAQ

No. On Mostply, reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing one requires a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before the new, higher limit activates. This intentional delay exists to protect you from impulsive decisions during or just after a session.

Your Mostply balance is preserved during self-exclusion. You cannot access it for betting or gaming during the exclusion period, but any real-money funds are held safely in your account and will be available for withdrawal once the exclusion period ends and your account is reinstated.

Yes. Deposit limits, loss limits, session timers and self-exclusion all apply across every product on the Mostply platform — sports betting, live cricket odds, online casino, crash games, virtual sports and ludo. There is no way to bypass a platform-wide limit by switching to a different game category.

Mostply does not issue refunds on bets that were placed and settled under normal conditions, even if you later identify that your gambling was problematic. This is standard across the industry. However, if you are experiencing serious financial hardship because of gambling, we strongly encourage you to activate self-exclusion, withdraw your remaining balance to your JazzCash or Easypaisa account, and seek support.

Yes. Mostply's platform monitors patterns of play for indicators of possible harm — such as significantly increased session lengths, large loss increases, or repeated deposit-and-lose cycles. Where the system flags a concern, a member of the Mostply team may reach out to check in. This is never a judgement — it is a standard part of how we take care of our players.

Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available, but it is not the only option. Setting a deposit limit or a loss limit is a meaningful first step that does not require stopping entirely. Starting with a deposit limit at a level you are genuinely comfortable with — and committing to it for at least one month — can help you understand your actual relationship with gaming without the pressure of a full break.
Tips for Healthy Gaming on Mostply
  • Decide your budget before you log in, not during a session.
  • Accept that losses are the cost of entertainment, not injustice.
  • Never bet with money needed for bills, rent or family expenses.
  • Take regular breaks — away from the screen, not just between bets.
  • Do not gamble when you are stressed, tired, angry or upset.
  • Talk to someone you trust if gaming is starting to feel like a need.
